Franck Adjisegbe
Franck is the
founder and president of Higher Education and Responsibility through
OverSeas Exchange, HEROS. HEROS is a non-profit organization dedicated to
developing leadership in high school students by taking them to Africa to build schools
in rural areas.
From the
Republic of Benin in West Africa, Franck’s path
is painted with many colors. He has stepped on four continents and lived in
several countries.
As a
former reporter and photojournalist, Franck’s assignments stationed him in
several African countries, South Korea, Japan and some South
East Asian countries.
In 1994,
Franck was awarded Academic Excellence and Leadership scholarship to the University of Bridgeport where he
disciplined in Communication Studies.
After
graduation, he worked in public relations and also as a Youth Program
Coordinator in Bridgeport and Stamford.
In Bridgeport, his views on
social issues, youth, parenting and politics are heard at many different
forums. In addition, he is also a mayor appointed Commissioner to the Fair
Rent and Housing commission, City Hall.
He is
passionate about the youth, women’s development, health issues and martial
arts.
In his
spare time, he offers massage, kickboxing for weight lose
and strength training.
