Youth Coordinators

Volunteer and get the opportunity to travel and work in Africa

We need dynamic college students to volunteer as youth coordinators. This position requires individuals who are interested in working with inner-city and suburban high school students.

Commitment: 2 hours/week.

You will be required to assist students to run HEROS clubs in their schools by providing the following services;

• Locate sites for community service
• Suggest ideas on fund raising
• Assist students to run club meetings
• Assist students to recruit
• Assist student to conduct elections

As a youth coordinator, you have the opportunity to go on a paid trip to Africa.

Public Relation & Fundraising

We are looking for individuals with public relation skills and or fund raising experience to join our team of directors of HEROS.

Commitment: 2 hours/week.

This position is for community-minded individuals who are interested in helping a non-profit organization grow.

• You will be required to attend staff brain storming meeting
• Help organize fundraising activities
• Assist with or provide lead to potential donors or philanthropic foundations.
• Present HEROS to the public.
